As we enter the fourth quarter of 2023, it’s a good time to reflect on the year’s progress achieved in 2023, update the roadmap and upcoming developments for Q4 2023 and 2024.
2023 Q1
In the first quarter this year, we successfully launched the Lavita subchain powered by Theta Metachain, and published our comprehensive whitepaper here.
2023 Q2
Throughout the second quarter, we achieved several milestones. These include the launch of decentralized computing AI training jobs to over 10,000+ Theta Edge nodes. The current plan is to launch confidential, secure computing during the first half of 2024. The goal is to execute tasks in collaboration with prominent cloud service providers such as Azure, IBM Cloud, and Alibaba, etc utilizing our platform coordinator, with these providers already established robust Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) configurations.
Additionally, during Q2 we completed the alpha version of our AI-powered Q&A backend engine. The Beta version is scheduled for release later in October/November under the name Medical AI Assist. We encourage you to stay tuned for this exciting release in the coming weeks.
We also successfully concluded our Token Generation Event (TGE) during this period and airdropped LAVITA tokens to all Theta validators and guardians in August.
2023 Q3
The third quarter marked another great progress. We are on track in the development of the “Healthcare ID system in the LAVITA platform” with EHR integration. This endeavor has been made possible through our partnership with Epic we announced in July, the largest Electronic Health Record system in the U.S. Currently, in Beta testing internally, it is scheduled to launch with the Lavita platform’s release in the first half of 2024.
Simultaneously, we are planning to launch the Beta version of Secure Data Storage, which will be integrated with Theta EdgeStore. This integration opens the door for decentralized applications, encompassing digital asset storage, diverse datasets, AI models, and data availability services.
Our commitment to decentralization is reflected in the initial launch of the Lavita decentralized governance tool, with staking for security and governance of the subchain. The Phase 2, encompassing decentralized community proposals, voting, etc is slated for the second half of 2024.
2023 Q4
The “Advanced Healthcare Data Analytics tool” and the “AI-powered data validation tool” require more R&D and will be incorporated into the main Lavita platform release in the second half of 2024. The data analytics tool will be powered by Lavita’s medical AI model, which will be trained extensively on medical data to enhance its performance upon integration into the platform.
2024 Q1
As we move into 2024, the team will be focused on launching the first version of the Lavita platform, marking an exciting milestone in our roadmap. As we stabilize the platform and get community feedback, we plan to implement the “Clinical Patient Matching” pilot and test application with customer partners in the second half of 2024 as we launch version 2 of the Lavita platform.
